Cancer&Entry Information
| Cancer Name | cervical cancer |
| ICD-0-3 | C53 |
| Methods | qPCR, Western blot etc. |
| Sample | high-risk human papillomavirus tissues, cell lines (HFKs, LXSN, CaSki, C33A and HeLa) |
| Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
| Function Description | CCEPR is a nuclear lncRNA and that HPV16 E6 oncogene expression causes increased CCEPR expression through a mechanism that is not directly dependent on TP53 inactivation. CCEPR depletion in cervical carcinoma cell lines reduces viability, while overexpression enhances viability. |
