Cancer&Entry Information
| Cancer Name | breast cancer |
| ICD-0-3 | C50 |
| Methods | qPCR, Western blot, Luciferase reporter assay, RIP |
| Sample | human BC cell lines (MDA-MB-436, MDAMB-453, MCF-7, and MDA-MB-231) and one normal breast epithelial cell line MCF-10A, BC tissues and their adjacent nontumor tissues |
| Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
| Function Description | ADPGK-AS1 expression level was upregulated in BC tissues and cell lines. High expression of ADPGKAS1 predicted poor prognosis for BC patients. Functionally, ADPGK-AS1 promoted cell proliferation, migration, induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) process, and suppressed cell apoptosis. Mechanistically, ADPGK-AS1 acted as a miR-3196 sponge to release OTX1 in BC cells. |
