| Function Description | Expression of LINC00313was significantly up-regulated in PTC tissues and cell lines and that this up-regulation correlated with poor prognosis. the high expression of LINC00313 was associated with tumor stage (T3-T4) (P=0.002), lymph node metastasis (P=0.018) and TNM stage (III-IV) (p=0.005). In vitro experiments indicated that down-regulation of LINC00313 inhibited proliferation and the migratory and colony-forming abilities of PTC cells. Moreover, silencing LINC00313 induced cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in the PTC cells. In addition, mechanism studies showed that LINC00313 down-regulates miR-4429 expression, and that miR-4429 over-expression can abrogate the oncogenic role of LINC00313 in PTC cells. |
