Cancer&Entry Information
| Cancer Name | gastric cancer |
| ICD-0-3 | C16 |
| Methods | qPCR, Western blot |
| Sample | gastric cancer tissues, cell lines (N87, SGC7901, MKN45, HGC27) |
| Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
| Function Description | The expression level of lncRNA MAP3K1-2 was upregulated in GC cells and markedly higher in poorly differentiated cell lines. Silencing treatment of lncRNA MAP3K1-2 significantly inhibited cell proliferation and invasion in GC. Higher expression of lncRNA MAP3K1-2 was often associated with poorer prognosis in patients with GC. High expression of lncRNA MAP3K1-2 was signifcantly correlated with tumor size, depth of invasion, presence of lymph node metastasis, and presence of distant metastasis. |
