Cancer&Entry Information
| Cancer Name | cervical cancer |
| ICD-0-3 | C53 |
| Methods | qRT-PCR , Luciferase reporter assay , Western blot , RIP , in vitro knockdown etc. |
| Sample | CESC tissues and normal tissues ,normal cervical cells (End1/E2E7) and CC cell lines (C33A, HeLa, SiHa, and CaSki) |
| Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
| Function Description | MIR205HG was upregulated in cervical cancer tissues, and its depletion inhibited the proliferation and metastasis of CC cells. MIR205HG could sponge miR-16-5p to accelerate malignant progression of CC cells via upregulating FOXP2. Conclusively, MIR205HG could serve as a ceRNA in CC progression by modulating miR-122-5p/FOXP2 axis and exert a pro-tumorigenesis function. |
