Cancer&Entry Information
Cancer Name | hepatocellular carcinoma |
ICD-0-3 | C22.0 |
Methods | qPCR, Western blot |
Sample | hepatocellular carcinoma tissues, cell lines(HCCLM3, SMMC7721) |
Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
Function Description | we found that THOR was relatively highly expressed in human HCC tissues and cell lines. Notably, high THOR expression was associated with worse prognosis. THOR depletion resulted in significant inhibition of the growth and metastasis of HCC cells. Univariate analysis demonstrated that the patients with low THOR levels possessed a lower risk of HCC recurrence and a longer survival time after surgical resection than those with high levels. |
