Cancer&Entry Information
| Cancer Name | hepatocellular carcinoma |
| ICD-0-3 | C22.0 |
| Methods | qPCR, Western blot, RIP |
| Sample | hepatocellular carcinoma tissues, cell lines( HepG2, Hep3B, SMMC-7721, HCCLM3, Bel-7402, L02) |
| Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
| Function Description | TUG1 was upregulated in HCC tissues. Knockdown of TUG1 and upregulation of miR-142-3p inhibited cell proliferation, cell migration, cell invasion, and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT). miR-142-3p was found to be a prognostic factor of HCC, and the mechanism by which TUG1 upregulated ZEB1 was via direct binding to miR-142-3p. |
