| Function Description | We demonstrated that UFC1 was upregulated in tumor tissues, serum, and serum exosomes of GC patients. UFC1 was elevated and predicted poorer prognosis in GC. The expression level of UFC1 was positively correlated with tumor size, TNM stage and lymphatic metastasis. UFC1 promoted gastric cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion by favoring cell cycle progression, inhibiting cell apoptosis and inducing EMT. UFC1 acted as a ceRNA for Lin28b oncogene by sponging tumor-suppressive miR-498. |
