To verify the microarray results, we randomly selected 4 upregulated lncRNAs and 3 downregulated lncRNAs from the differentially expressed lncRNAs in the microarray. qRT-PCR method was used to confirm the expression levels of the selected lncRNAs in the CRC tissues and paired adjacent normal tissues used in the microarray test. Despite the fact that the fold change of each selected lncRNA in the qRT-PCR test was not in full accord with the microarray data, the variation tendency of each lncRNA was consistent with the result of the micro-array.
