| Function Description | By detecting HOTAIR RNA expression in sixty paired PTC and normal tissues, we found higher expression of HOTAIR in PTC tissues compared to normal tissues. In BCPAP or HEK293 cells, ectopic expression of lncRNA HOTAIR significantly promoted cell proliferation. On the contrary, depletion of endogenous HOTAIR expression significantly suppresses PTC cell proliferation. |
