| Function Description | HOTAIR expression was significantly higher in HGG than in low-grade glioma. Moreover, as shown in Fig. 1A, GBM demonstrated a significant increase in HOTAIR transcript levels, compared with that observed in normal tissues, LGGs, or AGs. Our data establish that HOTAIR serves as a prognostic factor for glioma patient survival, as well as a biomarker for identifying glioma molecular subtypes, a critical regulator of cell cycle progression. |
