| Function Description | Real-time PCR assay in the 38 normal cervical tissues revealed that HOTAIR mRNA expression level increased with the presence of the risk allele T at rs920778 than those with the CC genotypes. Moreover, the cervical cancer patients with homozygous TT genotype were significantly associated with tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) stage. Furthermore, HOTAIR expression was higher in cervical cancer tissues than that in corresponding normal tissues, and the high expression was associated with the risk-associated allele T. |
