| Function Description | The results showed that cell proliferation was substantially retarded in the ANRIL-knockdown cells compared to the control cells, while the cells overexpressing ANRIL exhibited accelerated proliferation. In untreated HCT116 p53+/+ cells, overexpression of ANRIL appeared to promote DNA synthesis and cell proliferation evidenced by the higher percentage of S-phase cells. |
