| Function Description | To begin examining the function of lncRNA OIP5-AS1, we silenced it in HeLa cells by transfecting a pool of siRNAs directed at OIP5-AS1 and studied the ensuing changes in cell numbers. Silencing OIP5-AS1 promoted cell proliferation. |
