The current study further analyzed the role of uc002mbe.2 in TSA-induced liver cancer cell death. The level of uc002mbe.2 was markedly increased by TSA in the cytoplasm of HCC cells.A recent study showed that sumoylated hnRNPA2B1 controls the sorting of miRNAs into exosomes through binding to specific motifs .Although several lncRNAs have been implicated in chemotherapeutic sensitivity and resistance in HCC, the mechanisms underlying this drug sensitivity remain to be fully elucidated. Our data showed that knockdown uc002mbe.2 prevented TSA-induced apoptosis and G2/M cell cycle arrest in HCC cells. The level of uc002mbe.2 is substantially reduced in HCC cell lines and HCC samples.
