function description From these 127 DE lncRNAs, we selected the top 25 most significant genes for further validation and analysis (electronic supplementary material, table S2). For 23 out of 25 (92%) of the lncRNAs tested, quantitative real-time PCR (qRTPCR) on cDNA templates confirmed the microarray results. Overexpression of BC041455 prevented ERK1/2 phosphorylation. The effects of BC041455 on hormone-dependent MAPK signalling were observed in both MCF-7 and T-47D cells.
