Function Description Based on our results, we suggest the utilization of micro-RNA 122 as a biomarker during screening, diagnosis and prognosis assessments in breast cancer patients. Specifically, we propose the measurement of circulating microRNA 122 levels as a practical method to predict metastasis in breast cancer patients, which can affect the selection of treatment protocols and appeared to perform much better than the commonly used tumor markers CEA and CA15-3.
