Function Description	In conclusion, the increased expression and the interre-lation of both breast tissue and exosomal miR-21 in DCIS,and IDC and their inverse correlation with theforemostnuclear expression of PDCD protein signifies the onco-genic role of miR-21 in pathogenesis and the spread ofbreast cancer in these patients, as well as its potential use asa biomarker for disease screening and response to therapy.
